In my culture, there’s a saying that goes “whoever saves one life, has saved all of humanity”. It truly gives my life purpose and to feel the pride of making a meaningful contribution.

If you give in to fear, this results in, basically, the hindered progress and realisation of our own selves. I feel, very strongly, that I absolutely must do my part in the medical field, and do my very best to make a difference.

Relying on others without devoting yourself will never lead you anywhere. Staying positive is my number one method to boost my productivity. As they say in Legally Blonde, “Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t kill!”

As the old saying goes, “you can’t control the wind, but you can change your course.” Success means using well whatever has been given to you. Whether that is talent, strength, or wealth – multiply these things and love those around you well.

I want to advance the understanding of the connections between Asia and Latin America, celebrating rich heritage and traditions of Latin America while also highlighting the intersections and connections with Hong Kong.

I am passionate about educating the next generation of scientists This journey is not just academic; it’s a profound commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and inspiring future generations of researchers.

Our lives outside of academics are just as if not more important than what percentage we get on that one test. Life is more than a GPA and time is limited in this life. I want to be dependable and a safe pillar for those around me.
